When you order a roll off dumpster, we recommend calling a few days before you want to start your waste removal project. This is so you can secure a dumpster for a specific day. Each dumpster comes with an automatic 10 day rental period. The rental period begins when the dumpster is delivered, not when you order it. Don’t worry if you need the dumpster longer than the initial 10 days. You can keep the dumpster as long as you want, however there is a small fee for every day after the 10 days. We never automatically come to your location to pick up the dumpster. When you are finished with the dumpster, give us a call to schedule a pick up. Avoid Any Rental Problems
Here at Long Island Disposal, we want what’s in the best interest of our Long Island customers. So we’ve created a dumpster rental experience that reflects just that. To make sure there are no problems during the dumpster rental process, we are transparent with our terms and conditions. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or come to us with any concerns. Everyone deserves a proper waste removal, however, there are some things to keep in mind.
On the day of delivery, please make sure your location is free from obstruction. This means there are no cars, hanging wire or branches preventing us from dropping off the dumpster. If you would like us to place the dumpster in the street, you must have a permit on-hand the day of delivery. Failing to obtain a permit will cost you a trip fee and no dumpster.
We pride ourselves on how many household and construction materials we accept. However, we cannot accept any form of toxic, flammable or hazardous waste. Materials include wet paints, railroad ties, car tires and batteries. This is for your safety and keeping our environment green.
Please keep in mind there is a weight limit for each container. We recommend only filling the dumpster halfway to avoid going over weight. Be careful there are no debris hanging over the side when we pick up the dumpster. We cannot legally have the dumpster on the road if it exceeds the weight limit or has debris hanging over the side.
